Interlaken

If you mention Switzerland to someone who likes to travel, Interlaken will definitely come up in the conversation. This place is world renowned for its natural beauty and outdoor activities. In the summer there's canyoning, bungee-jumping, paragliding, hiking - you name it. Of course the winter's are full of skiing and snowboarding, some of the best in Switzerland. No matter when you go, you should try to take ime to stroll around the town itself, with the mountain background, it's amazing. Unfortunately, I was only able to see the town at night after snowboarding, and couldn't get any pics. I did, however, manage to get some pics on the slopes - which is amazing because my camera felt like it was frozen (it was about 10F and very windy on the mountain). Oh well, guess I'll have to go back when it's warm to get some more pics - life is rough.

One funny sidenote, there is a Hooters restaurant in Interlaken. It is hilarious to see the tacky neon sign amongst nice hotels and a peaceful mountain backdrop. But I must warn - stay away from the wings - they're terrible and ridiculously overpriced.
