Paris

Ah, Paris. At the top of most traveler's itineraries, and for good reason. There is so much to see here, you can forget about trying to do it all. I'd suggest picking a few major things you'd like to see, but spend the majority of your time just wandering around the city. There are so many beautiful parks, buildings, museums, churches, and gardens to stumble upon, you shouldn't waste your time trying to hit all of the big sites. Do bring a ton of money, as this city is ridiculously expensive. Parking it at a street cafe for a couple of hours is a great way to blend in with the Parisians and get a feel for the city. While they have a bad reputation for being stuck-up, as long as you make an effort to speak at least a little French, you will find your interactions here to be much friendlier.
